It was Horizons Week this week, a new addition to our school calendar, designed to broaden our students’ horizons, encourage them to think differently, challenge themselves and engage in learning that builds confidence, resilience and creativity. Within lessons we’ve had guest speakers from JLR and Poet Laureate Richard Grant aka Dreadlock Alien, lego building, multi-cultural cooking and trading games. Outside of the classroom students enjoyed our first MytonBury fete, an immersive Spanish theatre performance and a number of educational visits including a trip to Drayton Manor.
