Parent Guide to Education are offering a free online event for parents and carers of students currently in Year 9 and 10, bringing together experts from across the education world to help support teens through their GCSEs, with practical, realistic advice that can be used at home.
The event will take place on Sunday 5 July, 2pm to 6pm (the first half is for parents/carers and the second half is aimed at the student too).
Sessions include:
- Rap, Revise, Remember! – using music to make science stick (Matt Green, the Rapping Science Teacher)
- Why Little-and-Often Beats Last-Minute Panic – revision that’s calmer and more effective
- Exam Stress: How to Spot It Early and Keep It in Check (Katharine Radice)
- Helping Your Teen Manage Their Time Without Taking Over (Clare Evans)
- What’s coming after GCSEs, and how to get ahead of it
