At Myton we offer a wide range of A Level and BTEC courses in various combinations. All students also follow a programme of enrichment studies and PSHE.

How many subjects will you study?
The number of subjects – and the choice of subjects – studied by our Sixth Form students depends on their forecast grades and eventual GCSE results.
Most students study 3 subjects throughout Years 12 & 13
We only accept students starting Sixth Form on 3 x Level 3 courses. We do not offer A levels in 1 year.
Some students study 4 A levels in Year 12 and even Year 13
There is no requirement for students to take 4 A levels but the ablest students may choose to do so. This is suitable for students who are forecast at least 8 grades at 8/9 at GCSE and who are considering applying to Oxbridge, Medicine, Veterinary Science or other competitive courses.

Resits in English and/or Maths
We do not offer resits in English Language or Maths as our entry criteria means we have no students below this level. If students have joined us from abroad without these subjects we will support them in order to get to their required destination.
