Results & Post Results

We congratulate our A level students who have achieved some outstanding results this year. Head Teacher Andy Perry said, “In a year where grade boundaries are reverting back to pre-Covid levels, we are delighted that nearly 30% of all our grades were A* or A, and over 80% a C grade or higher. I wish all our students well as they take their next steps into university, apprenticeships, work or gap years.”

Whilst we congratulate all our students, a special mention must go to Luke Thacker, Ciara Coombes, Alex Spurway and Nikit Sajir who achieved a clean sweep of four A* grades and Maks Nowak and Jamie Thacker who achieved three A* grades.

Destinations next year for students include Russell Group Universities, such as the University of Birmingham, University of Edinburgh and Durham University to study courses including Medicine, English Literature, Computer Science and Spacecraft Engineering.

Congratulations to our Year 11 students on achieving some excellent GCSE results. In a challenging year where grade boundaries revert to pre-pandemic levels, we are delighted that a third of our students achieved a grade 7, 8 or 9 in English and a quarter in Maths. With around 75% of our students achieving a grade 4 or better in both English and Maths there are lots of very happy young people enrolling into our Sixth Form and into post-16 courses elsewhere. We are very proud of the students and wish them well.

Whilst we congratulate all of our students, special mentions go to Keira Howden and Elise Middleton-Shah, who each achieved 7 grade 9s and 1 grade 8 in their subjects, and Rhiannon Hewitt, Xavier Jethwa and Nell Baynham, who achieved 5 grade 9s.

Ex-students who completed a re-sit A Level or GCSE qualification and Y10 and Y9 students who completed a first language GCSE examination will have their results emailed to them on the relevant Results Day from 10:00 – 11:00.
