Myton School Sixth Form played host this week to a major event for legal educators from across the United Kingdom, ‘The Annual Law Teacher Conference 2026: Elevate Your Teaching.’ The conference was organised by Mr Hone, Head of Law and Politics at Myton, and brought together law teachers and exam board representatives for a day of professional development, discussion, and networking.

Christmas lunch
Our caterers AIP will be offering a Christmas lunch of roast chicken with all the trimmings (and a cake) on Wednesday 17 December (cost will be the meal deal price of £2.58).
Christmas Concert
Our Music department will be rounding of the term with a Christmas Concert in the Upper School Hall on Monday 15 December at 7pm, with festive refreshments from 6.30pm. There will be performances from many of our talented singers and musicians. Tickets are £2 and available on ParentPay.
Staff panto
A reminder that it is our Myton staff panto on Thursday 18 December to raise money for our charity of the year, Sarcoma UK. Staff taking part include Mr Ross, Mr Phipps, Ms Stevens, Mrs Curtis, Mrs Bhatoe, Miss Cole, Mr Johnson and many more!
There are two performances, one at 4.15pm and one at 7.15pm. There are still plenty of tickets left for the 4.15pm show, but not many left for the 7.15pm performance. You can buy your tickets now on ParentPay!
Christmas Jumper Day
Friday 12 December is our Christmas Jumper Day. Students are invited to wear Christmas jumpers (but no hoodies please) with their normal school uniform in return for a £1 donation. Donations can be made using your ParentPay account or in cash on the day. Our Sixth Form are raising money for Young Minds Matter and the rest of the school for Save the Children.
Jane Austen celebration
Students are invited to celebrate 250 years of Jane Austen on the 16 December. If students would like to join in with the celebrations they can see Mrs Thompson in the LRC or email [email protected].
Year 7 Carol Service
Year 7 parents are invited to attend our Year 7 Carol Service at St Mary’s Church on Friday 19 December at 11am.
If you would like to attend please confirm your attendance by completing the form emailed to you on the 12 November.
The Big Give Christmas Challenge
Local charity, Helping Hands Community Project, is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge from the 2 to 9 December, where every donation is doubled for one week only. Your support can help raise vital funds for men and women in Leamington Spa and Warwick, who may have or are experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, isolation or mental health struggles.
