We have received serious concerns from local residents regarding illegal and unsafe parking on Myton Lane during school pick-up times.
Please be reminded that parking, waiting, or stopping on double yellow lines is illegal. Myton Lane is a critical access route for the hospice and hospital, and blocking this road can prevent emergency vehicles from reaching patients. This is not only against the law but also poses a significant risk to safety.

Tip 1. Building a love of reading:
Help your teenager’s reading grow with them. Reading often takes a dip in the teenage years as school pressure, screens and social lives grow. But, at the same time, their interests grow stronger than ever.
Make reading feel like something they choose, not something they’re told to do.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue ask that you talk to your children and young people about the dangers of frozen lakes and water and how they can keep safe. It can be tempting to step onto ice but it could cost a life. They have created this video with life saving advice.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting reading for pleasure and developing strong literacy skills, we are inviting all students to complete a short survey about their reading habits.
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete and will help our Library and Literacy Team better understand how students engage with reading both in and out of school. Student responses will help us continue to develop resources, activities, and support that encourage a lifelong love of reading.
