Dear Parents and Carers
As we reach the end of another academic year, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, encouragement and partnership. Schools are at their very best when they work together with families, and I am incredibly grateful for the relationship we have built with our parent community. While there are many aspects of the Head Teacher role that I enjoy, one of the things I value most is hearing from parents. Whether through conversations at events, emails, meetings or the feedback you share throughout the year, your views help us to reflect, improve and celebrate what we do well.
This year has been packed with achievements, opportunities and memorable experiences. From trips and visits, performances and sporting successes, to the countless moments of learning and personal growth that happen every day, our students have continued to impress us with their resilience, ambition and character. None of this happens without the support of families at home, and for that we are truly grateful.
As a parent myself, I know that entrusting your child to a school is a privilege. Thank you for the confidence you place in us and for working alongside us to help your children flourish. Together, we share the same goal: ensuring every young person leaves Myton with the knowledge, skills, confidence and experiences they need to thrive in the future.
As we head into the summer break, I hope you find time to relax, recharge and enjoy precious moments with family and friends. Whether your summer involves travel, adventure or simply a slower pace of life, I wish you a happy, restful and well-deserved holiday.
Thank you once again for your partnership, your trust and your support throughout the year.
We look forward to welcoming our students back in September for another exciting year ahead.
Kind Regards
Mrs Curtis
