Fundraising is in full swing for our charity of the year, Sarcoma UK. As you may have seen in a previous Weekly News item, Mr Griffin, Sixth Form Administrator, had his head shaved bald at the end of September and will not cut it again until July 2026, when, if enough money has been raised, he will sport whatever style and colour the Sixth Formers choose to the Year 13 Leavers Ball in July 2026.
At charity events in between then and now Sixth Formers can colour and style Mr Griffins hair, depending on how much money has been raised. By Children in Need Day £600 of the £1500 target had already been reached so the Sixth Formers were unleased on Mr Griffin’s hair, choosing bright yellow with spots!
The total raised for Children in Need was £677 and the total so far raised for Sarcoma UK is £654.
Thank you to everyone who donated and to Mr Griffin for being such a good sport (and for making a year long commitment to raising money for Sarcoma UK!).
Anyone who would like to donate to Sarcoma UK can do so via ParentPay or via Mr Griffin’s JustGiving page.
