Read the Rainbow
Our LRC is challenging students to ‘Read the Rainbow’ and for each colour book their read the will receive 5 merits and be entered into a price draw.
Stowe Valley Trust’s Arts Festival 2026
Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust’s 2026 Arts Festival is taking place at the Belgrade Theatre on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July, with performances at 2.30pm and 6.30pm. Students from Myton School will be performing in the shows on Tuesday 30 June. Tickets can be booked using the QR code below.
University application process – free webinar
The Parent Guide to Education are running a free live webinar for Year 12 families to help them understand the university application process, including:
- What universities are really looking for
- How personal statements work
- Key UCAS deadlines and milestones in Year 13
- How to avoid the last minute stress that catches many families out
The webinar will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 20 May (with replay access for those who registered for a ticket), and you can sign up here.
Soft toy drive
A group of our Year 12 students are collecting preloved soft toys for the charity Kissing it Better, to give comfort to those in hospital with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Students can donate soft toys in return for a small gift outside the Sixth Form canteen at lunchtime on either Thursday 14 or Friday 15 May. Thank you.
Fundraising for Sarcoma UK/Little Princess Trust
Mia Sage, ex-student and best friend of Aaliyah Godfrey, is fundraising in her friend’s honour, by shaving her head on 7 July for Sarcoma UK and the Little Princess Trust.

Aaliyah Day for Sarcoma UK
We will be holding a charity day, Aaliyah Day, on Friday 1 May to raise money for Sarcoma UK. There will be cake sales taking place, a Disney raffle, and Mr Griffin will be having his hair dyed pink and white. Sixth Formers can wear non-uniform, and there will be the opportunity to add to a mural on display. Please note that cash or bank card (not accessed via smartphones) will be needed to buy cakes and/or raffle tickets. Donations can also be made via ParentPay.
