Year 7s are back from this year’s Bushcraft trip to Northamptonshire.
The group was based in Boughton Woods on the outskirts of Kettering for three days and two nights, staying in bell tents.
Despite the high winds and rain the students packed a great deal in – there was an opportunity to cook their own food (they had three meals a day outside but under cover) and there were a few surprise exercises including using the first aid knowledge they gained during the activities.
The next trip is scheduled for 29 June for Year 8s who missed it last year due to Covid.
