This week all Myton students in Years 7 to 11 have been sent a short wellbeing survey to complete as a ‘Show My Homework’ task. We are interested to see how your child is getting on during this time away from school and we would be grateful if you could encourage them to complete the survey and let us know how they are feeling.
Here are some messages from their Heads of Houses who wanted to pass on their best wishes and share some of their experiences during this period.
Greville House
Hello Greville students, I hope you are well and keeping safe. I personally miss being at school and look forward to when we return. I would love to know how you all are and what things you have been getting up to so please complete the wellbeing survey on Show My Homework.
Since I last saw you I’ve been getting lots of reading done, getting better at Call of Duty and now the golf courses are open, getting my handicap down!
Mr Wilson, Head of Greville House
Leycester House
Hello Leycester students! I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and hope that you and your families are staying fit and healthy. It has been strange for everyone and I share your frustrations and uncertainties around getting back to a normal routine. I am looking forward to seeing you all, popping into your lessons again and finding out what you have been doing with your time away from school. I have discovered TikTok and will share with you my best efforts when we are back in school. Please take a moment to complete the wellbeing survey on Show My Homework to help us assist you with your eventual return to school.

Beauchamp House
Hi Beauchamp students! I hope you are all looking after yourselves and keeping well. The last few weeks have meant a lot of changes for all of us and it is natural for us not to feel our usual selves. I have missed being in school a lot and it’s taken me some time to adjust. I have spent a lot of time in my garden, attempting to grow some plants! I have also been keeping active, walking lots and exercising at home. I would love to hear your experiences of the last few weeks including any new hobbies and interests. Please can you all take 5-10 minutes to complete the wellbeing survey on Show My Homework so we can see how you are and make the transition back to school a bit more manageable. Take care and see you all soon.
Mrs Wyatt, Head of Beauchamp House
Montgomery House
A big hello to everyone in Montgomery House! I hope this finds you and your family well, fit and healthy. It has been a really strange time for everyone with all of the uncertainty regarding school and trying to get back to a normal routine. I got into teaching to work with children and I have struggled lately without this interaction so I am really looking forward to seeing you all. I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to complete the wellbeing survey so I can see how you have been coping. Although there have been some struggles I have also had an amazing time being with my family, keeping fit and getting back in the kitchen to make some amazing food. I really look forward to hearing your stories.
Mr Hibbard, Head of Montgomery House
Oken House
Hello Okenoughts! How are you beautiful people and your families doing? I genuinely can’t wait for us to be back together when it is safe and catch up with as many of you as possible! I still can’t quite believe all this has happened and it feels like a zombie movie! Almost unreal at times. I have managed to really get into my metal and wooden brain teaser puzzles during the lockdown. I’m currently stuck on a skill level 8 one called Infinity! On our daily walk, me and my son are Pokemon Go pro trainers! I have loved hearing all the amazing things that some of you have been up to via your tutors! I can’t wait to try some of the baking that has been going on! Please complete the wellbeing survey and I look forward to seeing all your smiley faces again soon!
