Sam M in Year 7, who is a keen swimmer, has asked us to share this petition with you: Swim England – petition to open our pools.

Sam says: “I normally train 6 days a week with the City of Coventry Swim Team and I have aspirations to be an Olympic swimmer someday. Since lockdown began, it has been really difficult not to be able to train. We had all expected to be back in the pool sometime in July but the government has announced that they do not expect this to happen. Please support me, my teammates, and all the elite swimmers in the UK who are not allowed to get back in the water and train.”
