Rune: The Tale of A Thousand Faces by Carlos Sanchez – a “slightly scary” graphic novel with a sequel coming out in early November.
The Crater Lake Series by Jennifer Killick – students are on a school trip, “but whatever happens, they must Never. Ever. Fall asleep!”
The Dreadwood Series by Jennifer Killick – “funny, scary thriller(s)”, perfect for Year 7 and 8.
The Day I fell into a Fairy Tale and A Dog Called Midnight both by Ben Miller – “funny and heart-warming”.
The Great Dream Robbery by Greg James and Chris Smith – lots of humour guaranteed for this suggestion!
