Dear Parents and Carers
With just one week left of the academic year, many schools might be starting to wind down. At Myton, however, we seem determined to squeeze every last drop out of the term! Even as temperatures rise and many of us are dreaming of sitting quietly in front of a fan with an ice-cold drink, our students continue to embrace an incredible range of opportunities beyond the classroom.
This week alone, our Year 12 students have been exploring environmental issues at Osmington Bay, our Year 10 students have enjoyed their well-earned trip to Alton Towers, and our Year 8 students have been making memories in Barcelona, experiencing a different culture and developing their independence and confidence along the way.
Closer to home, students have been taking part in School Council training, developing their leadership skills and ensuring that student voice remains at the heart of our school community. We have also been delighted to welcome our incoming Year 6 students for their transition day, giving them a first taste of life at Myton and helping them feel excited and confident about joining us in September.
