This week Year 8s have been busy cooking and creating ‘laser’ quest activities in Forest School.
Chocolate s’mores cooked over a campfire were the order of the day in preparation for cooking ‘real’ food outdoors in the week before the Easter holidays.
The 11 children were also involved in building shelters and a swing – with logs, sticks, leaves, rope and a hammock.
The students were then set the task of building a ‘laser’ course using rope. They then took part in a number of challenges – travelling through the course without touching the rope; navigating it blindfolded; and a speed version.
