The U14 and U16 girls football teams reached the finals of the District Cup this week, and both teams played against Southam College at the host school Campion.
The U14 team played some excellent football, with every member of the team playing their part in the 3-0 victory to become the first U14 Girls District Champions.
The U16 team had a tougher game and, having trailed by 2 goals within the first 10 minutes of the game, came back to take the lead. The game was certainly end-to-end, and after a 5-5 full time, the match continued into extra time. Unfortunately, Myton were unable to continue the pressure and lost the game 8-5.
Mrs Cole said: “It was a real privilege to see the girls perform so well and they all represented the school with pride.”
