We have been advised of a incident in St Nick’s park where some young people were invited to get into a white van. They very sensibly told their parents who advised the police. This is a good reminder to reinforce the message to your children that, although all strangers are not dangerous and can be helpful in many instances, they should never get into a vehicle with a person they do not know and should report this immediately to the police.
