Five students from Year 9 have taken part in a STEM competition called Go4set. They had to work on a project over 10 weeks with the help of a mentor from industry and produce a report, give a presentation and make a model. The students showed great commitment and enthusiasm and worked very closely with the allocated mentor from Warwick University. The team chose recycling as their project and the reason was because they thought this would benefit the school.
At the judging on Tuesday 19 June the students impressed the judges with the professionalism of their presentation and were told it was one of the best. They were also told their report was very good and their concept was imaginative.
Well done to all of them.
