Year 12 Media and Film Studies students visited Coventry University this week as part of the inaugural Phoenix Film Festival.
The group of 15 attended a workshop on 360 degree cameras and Virtual Reality (VR) experiences and had a great time:
“Wow, this is awesome!” said Samar when using a VR headset (pictured below).
The day also included making a low budget music video production and watching screenings of a range of shortlisted films. The group was also able to meet and chat with current university students and lecturers.
“I’m really grateful to Coventry University for welcoming us and putting on these workshops,” said Mr Lowe, Head of Media and Film Studies.
“I’m looking forward to developing Myton’s relationship with the university’s excellent Arts and Humanities Faculty over the coming months.”
