Next week sees the return of the annual Myton student Rock Night after a break following the pandemic.
The event – on Monday 4 April between 7pm and 8.30pm – is an opportunity for soloists, small groups and bands to showcase their skills performing rock and pop music. There will be performances from students in Years 8-13.
Much of the organisation has been managed by the Year 12 A Level Music class, Tabitha, Rohan, James, Amelia and Sam. Head of Music, Ms Harrisson, and Music & Drama teacher, Mr Brice, said it is fantastic to be able to hold the event again and provide an opportunity for students to perform in front of a live audience.
Tickets are available via ParentPay or on the door – £3 for adult seats and £2.50 for students.
