Sixth Formers have been able to take advantage of an in-school seminar called ‘Ace Your Exams.’
The session for 140 students was run by Elevate Education and covered exam preparation, fixing mistakes to ensure constant improvement, time allocation during exam preparation and techniques for managing stress and time pressure in exams. It consolidated the work on revision year 13 had done in form time and was a good reminder/confidence booster for students to help them in the run up to exams.
Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Stevens, said feedback from students was good with most saying they would recommend the session to a friend.
There is a follow up session for a few who missed the seminar, on Tuesday 5 April, entitled ‘Finishing Line.’ If any Year 13 students who missed this first session would like to take part, please contact [email protected]
