Year 10 students took part in the National Scientific Thinking Challenge this week.
In this online 50 minute challenge, students looked at data, graphs and text to make deductions, spot trends, suggest hypotheses and identify anomalous results. The challenge is designed to encourage students to try something positive and enjoyable that allows them to demonstrate their scientific thinking skills.
Students whose marks place them in the top 10%, 25% or 40% of national entries will receive a gold, silver or bronze certificate respectively.
