On Tuesday 11 February, our GCSE music students had the fabulous opportunity to hear from award-winning composer – and Myton parent – Matt Katz, who came into school to speak to students about his experience of writing music for film.

Matt shared his experience of writing music for light entertainment and children’s TV, for example Horrible Histories and the Teletubbies, as well as radio theme tunes and the gaming industry. Many thanks to Matt for lifting the lid on this fascinating industry.
