Physical activity and exercise are fundamentally important during these times and creating a routine for exercise is key for both our physical and mental wellbeing.
In online PE lessons we have been trying to inspire our students with a variety of activities for them to complete at home.
These have included:
- HomeCourt app activities/challenges (teams for each year group)
- Sports-related presentations and workout exercises – know your sport (Football, Netball & Hockey so far)
- Fitness challenges on Myton SharePoint
- Workout videos (Fitness Blender and YouTube – Body Project workouts & the Body Coach)
- Distance challenges to walk/run/cycle during the week
These will continue along with virtual activities from governing bodies of sport. Please keep active everyone and aim to do at least 20 minutes of activity each day if you can.
