This week Year 7s, 8s and 9s have been cooking up a feast, toasting rolls, making outdoor cheese toasties and sauteeing potatoes in Forest School. Interestingly, half of the children said they didn’t enjoy potatoes at the start of the class, according to Mr Apostol, Lead for Personal and Character Development. By the end, 100% of students loved them and wanted seconds!
The children also learned how a passive infra red (PIR) sensor works and set up a camera track to help track and spot animal habitats.
Thanks to Mr Apostol and Mrs Jones for supporting this fantastic activity.
