Our teachers have been busy honing their culinary skills over these past weeks of lockdown and we thought we’d share some of their creations with you.
Mr Hibbard has been making pizza.
Miss Gallico has gone from someone who couldn’t boil an egg to making dishes like this herby pork mince stuffed celery with tomato sauce.
Mrs Morales said: “Like many other people, I tried my hand at making sourdough bread. It was time-consuming but delicious! Earlier on, I was frustrated by the lack of availability of flour, so I made Venezuelan arepas for lunch. They’re a sort of pitta/pancake hybrid made with corn meal that can be filled with cheese, meat, or vegetables… I filled mine with Mexican-style chicken for a Latin American inspired meal.”
Mr Johnson made banana and strawberry cookies. He said: “I still need to do some fine tuning, but they do taste fine!”
Mrs Phillips made a birthday cake selection for a friend and fruit crumble cake.
And Dr Menezes has been unstoppable, making this delicious-looking selection.
