Friends of Myton School (FOMS)

About FOMS

When your child starts at Myton you automatically become a member of the PTA, the Friends of Myton School (FOMS). Anyone from the school community can be an active member of the Friends; parents new and old, grandparents, governors and friends.

Your support and contributions are greatly appreciated by helping with volunteering and fundraising.

Fundraising

FOMS’ most recent contributions include £1,000 to SEND trips, £1,000 for self esteem workshops, £1,000 for sixth form PCs in the LRC, Oracy workshops for Year 8.

Community support

FOMS supports the school and wider community. For example, selling refreshments at shows and concerts is a responsibility of the ‘Friends’ which serves to make the events more enjoyable and sociable occasions.

How you can make a difference

The Friends can make a REAL difference to the learning and teaching environment for our students. However, your on-going support is needed to ensure the Friends can continue to contribute. If you can help in any way please contact the committee via [email protected] or go to the FOMS website.

Pre-loved uniform
