After the recent announcement from Mr Mike Oldridge confirming the appointment, this week’s Head Teacher Message comes from our new Interim Head Teacher, Mrs Curtis.
Dear Parents and Carers
It is a privilege to step into the post of Interim Head Teacher at Myton School, serving our local community and contributing to the continued success of the Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust.
At Myton, we maintain unapologetically high expectations, rooted in a culture of CARE, where diversity, inclusion and the acceptance of others are central to our ethos and underpin everything we stand for. We are committed to nurturing the whole child, and our character programme, unique and integral to our curriculum, prepares students for lifelong success. Through our extensive personal development offer, students are provided with enriching, life‑changing experiences that create lasting memories.
I look forward to working closely with the wider school community to ensure we continue to provide the support, role modelling and advocacy that our young people deserve. Myton is a warm and vibrant school, and together we will ensure that every student aspires to, and achieves, excellence.
I’ll leave you with this photo, which I think demonstrates how enthusiastically students from all year groups contributed to pie a teacher to raise money for charity…another example of our kind and caring students contributing to the wider community.
Kind regards
Mrs Curtis
