Dear Parents and Carers
As I’ve walked the site this week I’ve had one of those moments where stepping back and looking from afar brings a real sense of pride. Year 11 students have begun their exam season with calm focus and maturity, with Art exams and MFL speaking assessments getting off to a really strong start. Alongside this, we’ve been sharing in the excitement of our Year 13 students receiving offers from leading universities, including the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford. As the parent of a Year 11 child myself this has been even more poignant.
Equally important are the moments in between: watching students collaborate, perform and grow in confidence through opportunities such as our wonderful production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the many experiences offered through our enriched curriculum. These wider opportunities play a vital role in shaping character, resilience and ambition. Together, these snapshots remind us that we are a school where young people don’t just achieve strong outcomes, but go out into the world confident, well‑rounded and at the top of their game.
Kind regards
Mrs Curtis
