On Thursday many of our Year 7 students had the chance to meet some animals from the rainforest and find out more about their characteristics, how they fit into the ecosystem, and how they have adapted to their environment.

Did you know, for example, that cockroaches would survive a nuclear war, and that they can even carry on living without a head?

Do you know the difference between poison and venom, or why some frogs can’t swim? Just ask our Year 7s – they now know all the answers!
