This week 230 of our Year 11 students had the opportunity to practise their interview techniques with representatives from industry, further and higher education. Visitors came from local and national businesses including IBM, National Grid, GE Energy Management, Alsters Kelley Solicitors, Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police Service, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, the British Army, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Warwickshire and Stratford Colleges.

Students received really useful feedback on both their CVs and their interview skills and our visitors were very impressed with the level of student engagement and preparation. One commented that: “Of all the students I have met today, I could honestly say that I would give them all a job!”

Our Year 11s also found the experience useful. One said, “My interview with the Eden Hotel Group was really good. I was worried about facing my interview for college but now feel much more confident!”
