Well done to Cian McKeaney who finished 10th in the recent Inter Area Cross Country Championships at Moreton Morell. He was the first Warwickshire runner home in the Inter Boys event, confirming himself as the best runner in the county for his age group. He was competing in a hotly contested event against the top runners from Shropshire, the West Midlands, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Surrey & Cumbria.

Toby Nelson also competed in the Minor boys event in his first call for Warwickshire and was the 9th best runner home for Warwickshire.

The next key cross country championship is the Warwickshire Schools Team event on Saturday 20 January. Selection will take place over the next few weeks and the first two weeks back after the Christmas holidays.
