Mrs Davies’ Year 8 maths class were applying their maths skills on the football pitch this week with a lesson designed to get them out of the classroom and looking at the maths involved in football.
They were enjoying measuring how far they could kick a ball and the effect of different variables, such as a standing start, taking a run up and kicking backwards.
