On Tuesday 1 November a number of our students had the chance to stand on the 124th floor of a skyscraper in Dubai, experience life in a First World War trench, and go underwater in a shark cage, all without leaving school.
They were taking part in Google Expeditions which, with the aid of a cardboard viewer and a smartphone, are able to immerse students in a virtual world beyond the classroom.
