Lunchtime sports clubs have been booming this week, with 50 students recreationally playing badminton and basketball some lunchtimes.
Training for all sports has been very well attended, with lots of Year 8 students joining sessions.
Year 7 students attended their first rugby tournament and competed extremely well, despite the thunderstorm that resulted in our minibus becoming ‘beached’. 6 teachers had to ‘scrum’ the bus off the field!
Our under 14 girls’ team football team put in a gutsy performance against a tough Bromsgrove team, losing 1-3 in the National Cup.
Congratulations to the Year 11 boys’ football team who beat North Leamington School 6-1 this week.
A Year 7 and 8 girls’ football tournament took place this week, with over 70 girls competing.
