You may remember that the overall school winners of our Year 7 Spanish Spelling Bee were Ana Maria Crastoiu and Emma Dodd. Both girls competed at the regional finals on Thursday 10 May and we are delighted to report that they are through to the national finals to be held at the end of June at Cambridge University.
They came 2nd and 3rd respectively out of 2,253 students who started the competition in the West Midlands. We are exceptionally proud of their hard work.
