A massive well done to Olivia Ray who completed an extreme abseil on Saturday 7 May in aid of the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs (WAYC). Olivia abseiled down the Lift Tower at the National Abseil Centre in Northampton, which is over 400 feet high (higher than Big Ben), and she remained unfazed, even with a thunder storm looming on the horizon!
Olivia has raised over £300 for WAYC and its work with vulnerable young people living in Coventry and Warwickshire. She is part of a group of Myton sixth form students who have completed a range of fundraising challenges, including a sky dive and other extreme events.
David Skoppek, fundraiser from WAYC said, “We are so very grateful for all the hard work by Olivia and her fellow students. The total amount raised so far by Myton students is over £3,900 which is just incredible!”
