Two Myton students attended the launch event for a new ‘Clean Up Britain’ initiative in Leamington this week called Now or Never. The aim of the initiative, which took place on Monday 23 April, is to make Leamington a cleaner place to live. Sophia Morrow and Aaliyah Davies, who are both in Year 8, were there as representatives of the school. We were contacted after the event to say how well they did. Aaliyah stood in front of a large group of corporate representatives and answered questions on littering, its causes and possible solutions. The presenter, Cybil Ruscoe, was particularly impressed with her and singled her out at the end for praise. Well done to both of you. Let’s hope the initiative is a success.
