At Myton, we have a number of students who truly excel at music, but who don’t always get the recognition they deserve because much of their activity is out of school through the Warwickshire Music Service.

To put this right, we’d like to give a special mention to Amy Ahearne and Daniel Maughan, both of whom are members of the Youth Wind Band, Alice Cleaver and Lukas Kumin who are in the Coventry and Warwickshire Youth Orchestra, Beth Saunders in the County Girls’ Choir and Louise Turner in the Youth Waits (a group who play the music of the renaissance band repertoire).

Well done to all of you. It takes a lot of hard work, skill and dedication to get a place in these groups and the standard is exceptionally high. We are very proud of you.
