Our library (Learning Resource Centre) is now under new management. Since the start of term Mrs Thompson has been in charge and she has recently been joined by Mrs Drage as her assistant. They are busy updating the stock and ensuring there are new and interesting books available for students of all tastes and reading abilities. So now is a great time to come along to the LRC and borrow a new book.
Because we know that reading is crucial to support your child’s learning we do ask all students to have a reading book (fiction or non-fiction) in their bag at all times. They will often be asked to read at the start of English lessons in KS3, during form time in all years, or as an extension activity in a lesson.
So come to the library and borrow a book or come and ask for some advice on what to read next.
