Louis Mitchell in Year 13 successfully completed the Tough Mudder challenge on Saturday 21 May. He and the rest of his team raised £500 for WAYC’s work supporting local young people diagnosed with mental health problems.
The Tough Mudder is a global phenomenon that requires teams of runners to endure freezing waters, heights, mud, electric shocks as well as a gruelling 13-mile run.
David Skoppek, fundraiser from WAYC said: “We’re very proud of him. This challenge is definitely not for the faint hearted. Louis impressed the whole team with how he stuck with it and encouraged others.”
Well done Louis – what an achievement!
