Local author, Caroline Lea came into school on Monday 28 November to talk to some of our Year 11 students about the writer’s craft. They looked closely at a number of extracts from well-known books, analysing the use of language, before working on their own creative writing pieces.

It was a very enjoyable session and gave the students a chance to consider writing as an art form.
