Today in assembly, our Head of Literacy Julie Stevens has introduced a new literacy pilot with all Year 7 students. The aim is for students to take responsibility for their literacy development and work on their targets across the curriculum.
Each student has received a booklet in which they are asked to select 1 writing target and 1 reading or speaking target. They have had help in the assembly to pick the 2 targets and anyone who needs it will receive more help from their English teacher next week.
