GCSE geography students visited Carding Mill Valley this week as part of their exam preparation. The students collected measurements of a river’s width, depth, bedload and velocity. They were fortunate with the weather, with only a little bit of rain on the Monday as they left.
It was an enjoyable trip in a beautiful setting, and the students were a pleasure to accompany. They embodied the Myton Values by being respectful to the local community and other schools who were also there collecting data. They listened to instructions and were able to collect the data required, which will be used over the next few weeks.
