Our school library ran another of their popular after-school events on Wednesday 7 February. The LRC was transformed into a mystical and magical world of Fantastic Beasts for Harry Potter Book Night.
We can announce a number of winners:
The Wordsearch Competition: Priyan Sanghera (G10) wins the colourful book by J K Rowling Inside the Magic: the Making of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which was kindly donated by Mrs Bishop.
The Fantastic Beasts Quiz was won jointly by Callum Sharman (M4) and Harleen Lider (M3) who both went home with free passes to Jump In.
Prize Draw: Lily Sims (B4) took home a copy of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them DVD.
House Games were won by ‘Ravenclaw’ and ‘Slytherin’ and tubs of Haribo Mix were awarded.
The Colouring Competition is being judged by Mr Green from the Art Department. The standard is very high indeed and judging is proving to be more difficult than was first envisaged. We hope to be able to announce the winner next week.
Congratulations to Mrs Thompson and Mrs Drage for organising another exciting event, many thanks to Mr Town, Mrs Gallico and the older student helpers. And a very big thank you to Mrs Jones, our Catering Manager, who brought along her three beautiful owls, much to everyone’s delight.
