We have received the results from this year’s Junior Maths Challenge which was completed online during lockdown. The challenge is an hour-long multiple choice quiz of some of the most diabolical maths problems you could think of. Students get marks for correct answers but lose marks if some answers are wrong.
Head of Maths, Mr Ealden said: “We are extremely proud of the Year 7 and 8 students who took part in the challenge and we’re particularly impressed with all those students who achieved a gold, silver or bronze certificate. Year 7 get another go next year. Year 8 progress to the Intermediate Challenge taken by Years 9, 10 and 11.”
