This week, a group of Myton students are in our twin town of Brühl for the 25th anniversary exchange visit with Musikschule der Stadt Brühl.
Thursday 11 October was also International Day of the Girl Child and our students were invited by the Mayor to perform live on the steps of the Town Hall in Brühl town centre. Ed Murdoch played the mandolin, Max Rowe performed classical guitar pieces and Emily Adams sang a Coldplay number.
Finally, Ms Harrison, Myton’s Music Coordinator sang a Schubert song, ‘Lachen und Weinen’ in German accompanied by Mrs Edwards who said: “The students were a credit to Myton School and wonderful ambassadors; they were applauded and cheered by members of the public, the Mayor and dignitaries.”
