Is your child in Year 10, 11 or 12 and interested in a career in engineering?
This summer EDT are again running their skills camps which offer young people the chance to work on an exciting, real life engineering challenge, alongside mentors from leading engineering companies.
Skills Camp students can expect to learn:
- Project management
- Engineering decision making
- Technical skills
- Team work
- Communication
The two courses are:
- 3-7 July, Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre, Coventry – available to students in Years 10 & 11
- 17-21 July, University of Wolverhampton Engineering, Priorslee (Telford) Campus – Available for students in Years 11 & 12

All EDT Skills Camp places are free. You may need to pay a small refundable deposit. Some travel support may be available for young people receiving free school meals.
