Is your son or daughter in Year 10? Are they interested in a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM)? If yes, then EDT’s Routes into STEM is a local non-residential three day course where they will gain important knowledge about the wide range of career opportunities available to them.
Their Coventry course is taking place during the October half term (25-27 October 2016) and the course give you the chance to:
- Stimulating hands on STEM activities and a Routes into STEM workbook to take away
- A chance to explore both apprentice and degree options and to consider what is right for them
- Meeting current students and apprentices and hearing about their experiences
- A full day company visit to understand the career opportunities presented by studying a STEM subject
- Bronze level accreditation from Industrial Cadets which shows students have received 20 hours enhanced workplace experience
