We are launching Black History Month in school this week. Black history will be covered and celebrated in all subjects, including learning about black designers and chefs in Design & Technology and about Martin Luther King and Malcolm X in RE.
Extra-curricular activities include lunchtime Afro-Caribbean hair workshops, and our ‘Be Real’ event being held on the 24 October, 6-8pm involving performances, key speakers, African inspired workshops and Pan African food.
